Miller Mechanical Services, Inc. provides engineering solutions to a wide range of industries through metal work technology, fabrication and construction. We maintain "R" and "U" stamps that allow for fabrication, alteration and repair of ASME code vessels in the shop as well as the field.
Miller Mechanical Services, Inc. is certified and authorized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to fabricate unfired (U) pressure vessels and certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to perform repairs (R) on pressure vessels. Miller Mechanical can design, fabricate, test, document and stamp pressure vessels to ASME, Section VIII, Division I specifications.
Miller Mechanical Services, Inc. offers custom API Storage tanks fabrication and design. API storage tanks may be employed for general storage applications under low pressure or atmospheric conditions.
Miller Mechanical has built various heat exchangers both horizontal and vertical; removable tube bundles and fixed bundles; floating and fixed tube sheets; and with and without expansion joints. Heat exchangers, with only a couple of hundred tubes up to a re-boiler with almost 2000 tubes, have been fabricated and shipped from our facilities.
Miller Mechanical Services, Inc. has developed and patented a curved slotted screen to be used in vessels. The patented curve slot design creates lower resistance to flow which allows for a smaller portion of the screen plate needed for open area. Therefore, more metal remains in the screen plate and this creates a stronger surface. The curved slot design allows sideways movement of material in the slots and this movement helps to prevent material from being lodged.
Miller Mechanical Services, Inc. fabricates and installs complete O2 reactor vessels. These vessels are built per ASME Code. In addition we can supply complete can sections for the replacement of existing shell sections, patch plates, and inlet & outlet connections. Stainless steel and Duplex are the most widely used materials in O2 reactor tank fabrication.
